The NLG Street Law Clinics (SLC) are sessions (typically 3 hours) at which individuals can speak with a volunteer attorney, in private, about various legal issues.  The Detroit & Michigan Chapter has held clinics that are focused on specific issues (e.g. police misconduct, legal issues faced by Katrina survivors) or clinics with attorneys who cover a broad range of issues -- such as domestic violence, license restoration, bankruptcy, personal injury, civil rights, family law, probate, employment law, etc...
